500 miles beyond Quebec City, as route 138 lines the northern coast of the Saint Laurence River, as it widens into a gulf, lies the sparsely populated natural wonderland of the Mingan Archipelago. Getting there one passes by fascinating landscapes, including the Saganay Fjord, one must take a ferry to cross. Also Sept-Iles, Tadoussac and environs, and the National Park of the Hautes Gorges de la Rivière Malbaie, among others.

Rock field on Ile du Havre that suggests an Aztec or similar assembly field. I arrived there via sea kayak.
